Finally, after years of protest and outcries from Eric Garner's family, friends, community leaders and activists, Daniel Pantaleo, the officer who choked Eric to death, has been fired by NYPD Commissioner. #FirePantaleo has been actualized!
For over five years, Eric Garner has received no justice for the unjustified, unwarranted, and illegal use of a choke hold by Daniel Pantaleo that eventually led Eric Garner’s untimely death – for selling cigarettes. Finally after years and years of protest and outcries for some form of justice on Garner’s behalf, this flagrant, foul and lying officer has finally been fired from the NYPD. The hashtag #FirePantaleo finally got its wish along with so many others who have been fighting and praying for this moment to come.
