Tyler Perry is the shit.
For a black man to own one of the largest movie studios in the world, a movie studio so large and appealing that he has THE most powerful white folks in Hollywood beating his door down, begging him to film their movies there, means that you are the shit. So in a sense, I can see why he thinks he doesn’t need any help, writing.
If I’m being honest, if I had some of the most powerful and influential people in the world begging me to use my shit, you couldn’t tell me a gawd damn thing. Hell, you can’t tell me a gawd damn thing now, and my checking account is on Bow Wow compared to his Bill Gates.
Furthermore, Tyler Perry and his media empire has employed a plethora black folks. Everyone from the people behind the scenes of his projects, to the actors who are at the front of the camera, Tyler Perry has without a doubt signed plenty of black checks over the years.

OK..
Now that we got the “Tyler Perry is a black icon” shit out the way, Tyler, if you are reading this, which I’m positive you are not because you are too busy writing awful scripts, but if you are in fact reading this, PLEASE get you some writers to write these mf shows. We get it, you are the shit, so I know your ego is bigger than Madea’s dress size, but at this point/stage of your life, your writing skills seem to be lower than a Madea Rotten Tomato score. And that’s OK, no one is perfect.

In the video, which was shared on both Instagram and Twitter, Tyler Perry starts by stating, “So, I don’t know if you know this, but all shows on television have a writers room,” while displaying a large pile of “completed” TV scripts.
He goes on to state, “Most of the time, there are 10 people or 12 or whatever that write on these television shows. Well, I have no writers room. Nobody writes any of my work. I write it all. Why am I telling you this? I wrote all of these scripts by myself in 2019. Work ethic!”
Tyler Perry is right. His work ethic is amazing..
And he works tirelessly to be a terrible writer.
