This Is The Dumbest Shit I’ve Ever Seen Before In My Life

First off, who in TF thought this was a good idea?

Second off (or secondly? Whatever), I’m going to need my two black brothers holding their so called white “ally’s” leg like two children who want a pack of fruit snacks from their daddy to get all the way tf up and scoot all the way tf over.

Third off, and most important, imagine being pictured kneeling to protest police brutality, only for your so called white “ally” to stand because he proclaims that he has roots embedded in the military. “I understand that [kneeling during the anthem] is not about the flag and the military, but to me, it is,” Myles Leonard said.

Meanwhile, your so called white “ally” doesn’t care (after all these years of black folks explaining) that kneeling has nothing to do with disrespecting the military. In fact, kneeling was a tool put in place to show respect for the military (so we could stay on topic and acknowledge that the military is comprised of every type of American, including Black Americans), while also gesturing that you are against police brutality. But your so called white “ally” stands. And he stands proudly, I might add.

Imagine that.

And imagine the two black players to his left and to his right, kneeling, while their so called white “ally” stands. Their so called white “ally” dons the Black Lives Matter shirt to show his so called “allyship.” Meanwhile, the black players kneeling to his left and to his right are unknowingly participating in the imagery of so called white “ally” supremacy.

My black brothers, smh…

But, here they are, participating in the imagery of black people needing and coddling to their so called white “ally,” so that so called white “ally” can obtain a sense of comfort in order to save them from the very supremacy that so called white “ally” and his ancestors caused and helped facilitate.
