Since this story broke last week by multiple sources, #ASAPROCKY has been jailed in a Swedish prison for an alleged aggravated assault incident involving two men that he claims were following and harassing him. To be clear, A$AP Rocky has not been formally charged, however, based on multiple reports by TMZ, a judge granted prosecutors with the authority to keep him detained – without bail – while they “investigate further” to determine whether or not to charge him with the offense.
Two videos have surfaced from the incident. From what we can glean from the videos, the two men (or “alleged victims”) were in fact inciting the incident. In other words, doing the absolute most to catch a full scholarship to DemHandsUniversity. And so they wanted smoke and smoke is what they received.
The first video published is what happens when you poke the bear. In this case, that “bear” happened to be A$AP Rocky and company who clearly decided enough was enough from these two men. From the second video, it appears from the conversations between the two parties that the alleged victims hit one person, perhaps A$AP’s bodyguard, with a set of headphones after he told the two alleged victims to “go that way before I slap the dog s*** out of you.”

Where I’m from we call that a “warning shot” which indicates to the other person or persons to back up off of me before things get physical, homie. Judging from the apparent size advantage the security guard had over the two men, one would think that would’ve been enough to thwart provocation. Hell, A$AP Rocky even put on his peacemaker hat to diffuse the situation. But, as toxic masculinity would have it, the two men just couldn’t walk away. So in the spirit of City Girls, A$AP Rocky and company invoked the “act up, you can get snatched up” mantra, which has resulted in A$AP Rocky languishing in jail for the last week or so. #FREEASAPROCKY
Reports concerning the conditions of the Kronoberg prison are in flux. U.S. Embassy official after taking a visit described it as though he was “walking into a toilet.” On the other hand, Fredrik Wallin “prison boss” for Kronoberg prison vehemently disagreed with the report put out by TMZ along with the governor who said that A$AP Rocky is being held in a cell that is in “good condition.”
At the end of the day, we want our brother to be freed. It’s as simple as that. Videos will likely prove that A$AP Rocky is innocent. We will continue to monitor this developing story. Stay tuned for the latest.
